Experience: Required to have dispatching experience in NEMT, Taxi, Limo service.
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: Form 6 am EST (8 hour shift), Monday to Friday with weekend availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Scheduling:
- You will schedule vehicles to pick up and drop off clients to their medical appointments
- You will inform drivers of their assignments for the day and/or week.
- You must be able to schedule last-minute trips requests and be sure the clients reach their appointments on-time.
Communication:
- You will communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and drivers to ensure that everyone is aware of the schedule and any changes that may occur.
- You will be listening and speaking to people by dispatching software and phone. Your ability to listen, speak plainly and communicate effectively will be necessary.
- You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and manage your time efficiently.
- You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.
Handling Problems:
- You will need to resolve any issues or complaints. Including scheduling conflicts, driver behavior, billing disputes, any vehicle problems.
- You will need to be able to prioritize the most important situations and think quickly on your feet.
- You sound think ahead and anticipate potential problems, such as allowing extra time during stormy weather
Reporting:
-You will responsible for completing all required paperwork on time.
- You will provide reports and analysis of transportation services to management and other stakeholders.
- You will maintain accurate records of all transportation requests, including patient information, pick-up and drop-off times, and billing information.
Monitoring Safety:
- You will need know about limits on how long drivers can work without rest and take that into consideration when making schedules.
- You need to decide the safest course of action, such as getting emergency help when a vehicle is involved in a roadway situation.
- Monitoring the performance of transportation providers to ensure that they meet service level agreements and quality standards.
